The Safe Haven collection offers materials to support individuals dealing with mental health issues, substance abuse, and other personal struggles. To protect confidentiality, materials in the collection do not require check-out and do not need to be returned. The collection also includes a selection of personal hygiene items for those who need them. The collection was generously donated by the North Oakland Community Coalition and the Friends of the Orion Township Public Library. We are also accepting monetary donations from the community to support the upkeep of the collection.
